Mumbai (Commodities Control) - North Indian cotton was quoted Rs 100-113/Maund lower, while in Lower Rajasthan the fibre lost Rs 300-700 per Candy. Spot prices fell tracing steep decline in international cotton rates, leading to reduced demand by millers, stockists, exporters and MNCs today.
In Central India, cotton rates lost Rs 150-500 per Candy for different varieties.
