New Coriander Prices Elevate in Rajasthan amid Rising Demand from Bulk Buyers, Exporters

Jaipur (Commodities Control) - Rajasthan mandis were green with buyers for coriander from Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka Spice mills. Even bulk buyers are actve on Wednesday. Robust demand settled new coriander auction much before the end of afternoon auction.

Rajasthan registered arrivals of 23,000 bags of coriander, of which new coriander comprised 17,800 bags. While new coriander registered a price rise of Rs 70/Quintal and old coriander jumped by Rs 50/Quintal.

Local spice millers were quite active in Rajasthan mandi today and Lower grade witnessed higher demand in new coriander crops. Spice brands actively participated aiding price gains in Black, Eagle, Badami and Scooter variety. Exporters crowded the mandis of Ramganj and Kota mandis.

Rising temperature and clear skies are helping lower the moisture content in coriander. New crop supplies reported moisture content of 8-11% today.reduced moisture content is attracting exporters exceedingly.New coriander at Ramganj mandi was quoted at Rs 4200-4350/Quintal at the lower end and Rs 5750-5850/Quintal on the higher end.

Rajasthan mandis reported total arrivals of old coriander at 5,200 bags. Ramganj mandi--10,400 bags, Kota mandi- 2,700 bags, Baran mandi--1650 bags and Jaipur mandi--110 bags.
