Mumbai (Commodities Control) -Karnataka Cotton prices extend downtrend in price by Rs 100 per Candy today, due to weak mill buying tracking downtrend in international cotton, while daily arrivals have reduced. The fibre dropped Rs 100-200 per Candy in the last session.
Experts see weather conditions improving ahead, however lull international cues are keeping mll demand at bay along with farmer arrivals reduced. Daily cotton arrivals were registered at 17,000 bales vs 18,000 bales in the last session.
