Urad, Masoor & Tur Extends Fall in Delhi

MUMBAI (Commodities control) – Urad, Masoor along with Tur in both ready-forward trade declined for second straight day at Naya bazaar pulses market of Delhi, on Wednesday amid dull buying activity.

Moreover, demand and sale counters in processed pulses reported lackluster participation from wholesale-retail counters.

Tur Lemon old/new variety priced lower Rs 100 each at Rs 6,000/100Kg and Rs 6,100, respectively in ready business due to overseas supply.

Similarly, commodity was declined by Rs 100 to Rs 5,700 for December delivery from Chennai.

Burma Urad FAQ/SQ varieties fell by Rs 50/100Kg due to dull millers' trade as processed Urad reported dull offtake, following weak cues from Chennai despite less ready stock.

Canada and Madhya Pradesh origin Masoor dropped Rs 25/100Kg due to slack mills buying activity and supply from overseas.

Chana for December delivery on National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), was trading 0.6 percent or Rs 29 higher at Rs 4,880/100kg. Earlier in the day, he contract hovered in the range of Rs 4,834 and 4,895.
