Mumbai (Commoditiescontrol) – Domestic Tur traded mixed for second straight day, as per quality, on Thursday in selected markets on thin buying from millers as demand and sale counters in processed Tur was slack from consumption centers.
On other hand, Tur lemon variety of Burma-origin was priced lower by Rs 50 at Rs 5,800/100Kg in ready delivery at Mumbai. Similarly, in forward trade, commodity traded weak by Rs 50 to Rs 5,700 for November delivery.
Moreover, Nafed Approved Bid of 6448 MT Tur Kharif 2019 in the range of Rs 6,201-6,225/100Kg in Maharashtra on 25th Nov, 2020.
In Mumbai, Mozambique Tur new Gajjari/White variety priced at Rs 5,000/100Kg and red at Rs 4,500.
Mozambique-origin new Tur Phatka variety priced at Rs 7,800/100Kg and Sava No variety at Rs 7,500.
Sudan Tur offered at Rs 6,450/100Kg, Arusha Tur at Rs 4,900 and Matwara at Rs 4,700 in Mumbai.
In forward trade, Arusha Tur quoted at Rs 4,750/100Kg for December.
Regular supplies of cheaper Tur from Africa and Government agencies actively liquidating stocks has kept prices under pressure.
Government agency is selling old raw tur to the mills for processing, packaging and supply of processed Tur under PDS.
