Mumbai (Commodities Control) - Maharashtra cotton prices dipped Rs 200-300 per Candy tracking weakness in International cotton, while daily arrivals dropped. Having said so, prices are expected to rise in future, as demand for cotton is good from private yarn millers and exporters, increasing chances of price rise ahead.
Traders reveal weather conditions continue to be favourable in the producing regions, except for a few cloudy areas. Daily cotton arrivals were registered at 51,000 bales vs 57,000 bales in the last session.
