Paddy Remains Stable In Haryana, Punjab, Arrival Reaches To 90,000 Bags

NEW DELHI (Commoditiescontrol) Paddy prices remained flat in mandis of Punjab and Haryana. According to traders, moisture was still higher than acceptable level. 1509 is the many variety which is arriving in mandis. The arrival increased to around 85000-90000 bags. The prices for 1509 paddy were hovering between Rs. 1750-2000 per quintal.


According to market sources, 1509 paddy arrival increased to 80000-85000 bags in Haryana. The paddy was being sold between Rs. 1750-2000 per quintal. There was no price change in Haryana mandis. Out of total Haryana’s arrival, Karnal mandi registered arrival of 24000-25000 bags. Taraori received 7000-8000 bags and Kaithal 5000-6000 bags. In Punjab, Amritsar mandi received arrival of around 2000 bags. Total arrival in the state was estimated to 4000-5000 bags. The arrival may increase in the days to come if there is no more rain.
