Now the prices are increasing gradually in various markets after sluggish trend for long time. Wheat gained Rs. 25-30 per quintal in Uttar Pradesh. However, there was significant movement in other markets. No trade was noted in Mandis of Madhya Pradesh as the traders went on strike against Agri Ordinance.

A Bareilly based traders told that main supply line Shahjahanpur was not getting sufficient supply as farmers do not want to sell their produce at present rate.
