Mumbai (Commodities Control) - Substandard variety of coriander gave up Rs 50 in Ramganj mandi of Rajasthan amid higher arrivals. Although, best quality was quoted steady amid average trading session.

Ramganj mandi reported arrivals of nearly 4,000 bags, which is 30% more than previous session’s arrival. Substandard Badami variety was quoted at Rs 5100-5300 per quintal and Eagle variety was priced at Rs 5600-5850 per quintal.

Best quality Badami was quoted steady at Rs 5800-5900 and Eagle was priced at Rs 6100-6200 per quintal.

Traders confirm that demand for coriander is good, although arrivals in most mandis are reducing. This will take prices northward.
