Soy Oil Soars in MP Mandis Despite Dull Demand

Mumbai (commodities control) - Amidst strong global cues and the closure of the majority of crushing plants in Madhya Pradesh, soy oil has been witnessing a bull run in mandis across Madhya Pradesh.

Despite subdued physical demand, soy refined rose to Rs 880-82 for 10 kg, while soy solvent ruled at Rs 820-25. Soy oil plant rates were also quoted higher on weak availability of soy seeds with the crushers as soy refined Indore (Keshav/Ruchi/Bajrang/Gambuja) was quoted at Rs 885 for 10 kg each, soy refined (Vippi) – Rs 880, (Prakash) - Rs 878, soy refined Shujalpur - Rs 880, soy refined Neemuch (MS Solvex) - Rs 874, soy refined Neemuch (Dhanuka) - Rs 873, while soy refined Kalapipal (Ambika) was quoted at Rs 885. Soy refined (Avi, Ujjain) was quoted at Rs 890, MS, Pachore at - Rs 880, (Mg Khandwa)- Rs 885, soy refined Mandsaur (Amrit) - Rs 877, while soy refined (Nimbhara) was quoted at Rs 875-77 for 10 kg. Soybean's plant rates were also quoted higher on weak availability with soybean Prakash plant rate today being quoted at Rs 3870, Mahakaali at Rs 3870, Prestige - Rs 3775, Ruchi - Rs 3790, Kirti - Rs 3775, Sanwariya - Rs 3775, Itarsi - Rs 3800, Avi - Rs 3825, Khandwa - Rs 3,775, while soybean's Dhanuka plant rate was quoted at Rs 3830 a quintal. Soy DOC ruled at Rs 31,000-Rs 32,000 on subdued domestic demand.
