Coriander: Spot Price Steady, Futures Firm

Mumbai (commodities control) - Coriander prices were steady amid average trading session reported in spot markets of Ramganj and Gujarat. Meanwhile in Kumbhraj mandi of M.P, badami prices dropped Rs 200 per quintal. Although futures prices zoomed higher in today's session.

Coriander August futures upped Rs 92 on NCDEX to settle at Rs 6248/quintal. Ramganj mandi reported arrivals of 2500 bags of coriander. Badami was quoted at Rs 5300-5400 and Eagle variety was priced at Rs 5500-5700 per quintal. Meanwhile Baran mandi of Rajasthan registered arrival of 2000 bags. Badami was quoted at Rs 5100-5200 and Eagle was priced at Rs 5400-5500 per quintal. Rajkot mandi of Gujarat reported 1300 bags of arrival wherein Badami was priced at Rs 1045-1115 and Eagle was quoted at Rs 1075-1160 per 20kgs. M.P's Kumbhraj mandi reported arrivals of 1200 bags and Badami prices dipped Rs 200 to be quoted at Rs 4800-4900 per quintal.
