Coriander Prices Weaken amid Dull Demand, Higher Production Forecast

Mumbai (commodities control) - Coriander prices Weakened in spot markets amid dull demand and estimates of rising output. The spice was quoted Rs 50 lower in Ramganj mandi of Rajasthan.

Ramganj mandi reported arrivals of 4000 bags of coriander. Badami was quoted at Rs 5050-5250 and Eagle variety was priced at Rs 5300-5600 per quintal. Scooter variety was quoted at Rs 5800-6100 oer quintal. It is to be noted that Spot prices have dropped 4% so far this month. Coriander July futures tanked from Rs 6300 on 30th June on NCDEX to settle at Rs 6066/quintal in the previous session .
