Coriander: Prices Steady in Spot, Futures Weak

Mumbai (commodities control) - Coriander prices were steady amid average trafing session in spot markets.

Spot prices were stable in Kota and Rajkot mandis, however prices slipped on futures. Coriander July futures on NCDEX ended just Rs 64 lower at Rs 6170/quintal. Ramganj mandi reported arrivals of 5000 bags of coriander. Badami was quoted at Rs 5050-5250 and Eagle variety was priced at Rs 5300-5650 per quintal. Badami was most traded in variety, according to the traders.The other varieties were reportedly weaker today. Kota mandi registered arrivals of 2000 bags, although prices were generally steady. Badami was quoted at Rs 5000-5200. While Eagke variety was priced atRs 5100-5400 per quintal.
