Brazil's Soybean Farmers Sell 40% of 2020/2021 Projected Crop

Mumbai (Commodities Control) – Brazil's soybean farmers have sold about 39.8% of their 2020/2021 crop, corresponding to a projected 49.6 million tonnes, according to agribusiness consultancy Safras & Mercado on Friday.

Brazil's soybean farmers have also sold 92.9% of the current 2019/2020 crop, compared with 71.1% at this time last season and a 74.8% historical average. Safras & Mercado estimates farmers harvested 124.6 million tonnes of soybeans this season, the statement said.
