Cotton Prices Stable In Gujarat Amid Dull Demand

Mumbai (Commodities Control) – Gujarat cotton prices were quoted to be steady amid dull trade. The state reported arrivals of 18,000 bales of cotton.

Kapas was quoted at Rs 4500-5000 and cottonseed was priced at Rs 2350-2550/Quintal. Cottonseed oilcake traded in the range of Rs 2200-2500/Quintal.

Sankar-6 29mm cotton was quoted at Rs 32,800-33,000 and 28.5+mm was priced at Rs 32,300-32,500/Candy, while 28mm was priced at Rs 31,700-32,000/Candy.

Traders have reported lackluster demand at higher levels, while sellers aren’t ready to lower their price.
