Turmeric Prices Steady Amid Negligible Trade

Mumbai (Commodities Control) – Turmeric prices were flat to negative in a dull trading session. No trade was reported in South Indian mandis, while the yellow spice was more or less steady.

Erode registered arrivals of 3000 bags, while Finger variety was quoted at Rs 5800-6000 and Gatta variety priced at Rs 5400-5500/Quintal.

NCDEX June Turmeric contract ended Rs 38 higher at Rs 5436/Quintal.
