Spot Jeera Ends Higher Following Firm Futures

Mumbai (Commodities Control) – Jeera managed to end higher in spot markets on the back of firm futures and lower level buying. Spot jeera prices upped Rs 15-20/20Kgs in today’s session.

Total arrivals in Gujarat mandis were registered at 35,000 bags, while Rajkot mandi reported arrivals of 1700 bags. June contract of NCDEX ended Rs 155 higher at Rs 13,555/Quintal.

Jeera prices were quoted at Rs 1730-3160/20Kg in Unjha mandi, while Europe quality in Rajkot was priced at Rs 2515-2605/20Kgs.

Traders reported some exporters’ activity on the mandis today, while the spot market was well-supported following futures trend.
