Cotton Cracks Rs 400 In Lower Rajasthan

Mumbai (Commodities Control) – Weak demand led to fall in cotton prices in Lower Rajasthan. Amid arrivals of 700 bales, cotton prices collapsed Rs 300-400/Candy.

Kapas in the regions was quoted at Rs 5000-5450 and cottonseed was priced at Rs 2700-2800/Quintal. Cottonseed oilcake was quoted at Rs 2600-2700/Quintal.

28-29.5mm Marwad line cotton was quoted at Rs 31,500-32,700 and Alwar 29-29.5mm cotton was priced at Rs 32,000-33,000/Candy. In Pilani, 29.5mm cotton traded at Rs 3520-3530/Maund.
