MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Tur and Chana prices remained unchanged in Solapur market of Maharashtra, on Monday, amid cautious local mills buying activity.

Market anticipates price drop in the near future, as sooon as the crop arrival commences in local markets.

Even trade activity was reported to be negligible due to Mahavir jayanti.

Shortage of labour along with transportation problems amid nationwide lockdown is another reason behind dullness in trade activity.

As per government directive, millers have started crushing raw pulses and are ramping up pulses production and the logistics of getting them to retailers.

Tur traded flat at Rs 5,400-5,500/100Kg.

Chana Anagiri variety traded unchanged at Rs 4,100-4,150/100Kg as per quality. Similarly, Mill quality chana was priced steady at Rs 3,950-4,050.
