Mumbai (Commodities Control) - The overall dull sentiment in global and domestic commodities market weakened the spirits of pepper in Friday’s session.

The spice dipped by nearly Rs 2/kg in Kochi mandi of Kerala. While Garbled pepper was quoted at Rs 331/Kg, ungarbled traded at Rs 311/Kgs. Pepper prices have dipped nearly 3% this month.

Liquity crunch is the major reason by absence of bigger deals in the market. Buyers are busy clearing the old stocks before accumulating the new one.
