NEW DELHI (Commoditiescontrol) - Spot mentha oil prices fell at key markets of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday due to the sluggish buying from pharmaceutical and consuming industries and higher supply.

According to traders, the overall sentiment is weak amid expectation of higher acreage this season.

Mentha oil prices in Chandausi, Sambhal and Rampur quoted at Rs 1,275/kg, Rs 1,300/kg and Rs 1,270/kg, respectively.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), mentha oil contract for delivery in February ended lower by Rs 12.20 or 1.04 percent at Rs 1,160.50 per kg.
