MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - Spot coriander/dhania prices ruled mixed at major markets in the country on Friday amid selective demand.

The spice quoted unchanged at the Kota and Baran markets in Rajasthan. At the Guna market in Madhyya Pradesh too, prices remained stable. However, prices showed divergent trend in Gujarat with the commodity moved higher at the Gondal market, while softwened at the Rajkot market.

A total of 7,000 bags of spice arrived today at vaious mandis.

According to traders, new coriander has started arriving in the mandis of Rajasthan. However, the moisture content is very high in the new crop. With the arrival of new crop, prices may fall further. Production is also expected to increase this year.
