NEW DELHI (Commoditiescontrol) - Spot mentha oil prices gained at key markets of Uttar Pradesh on Friday on the back of low-level buying from the consuming industries.

The prices are likely to remain under pressure in the days to come with waning of seasonal demand at the fag-end of the winter season.

Mentha oil prices in Chandausi, Sambhal and Rampur quoted at Rs 1,350/kg, Rs 1,370/kg and Rs 1,330/kg, respectively.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), mentha oil contract for delivery in January ended higher by Rs 10.20 or 0.83 percent at Rs 1,241 per kg after moving in the range of Rs 1,243.90 and Rs 1,229 per kg.
