MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Ethiopia, Russia and Sudan origin kabuli chana traded higher Rs 25-50/100Kg at the Mumbai pulses market on Saturday amid fresh buying from besan flour millers due to good and less moisture quality with consistent supply from overseas and availability in the market.

While, Burma Kabuli Chana remained unchanged.

Consumption demand has also shifted to chana/kabuli chana from white pea due to cheaper rates and easy availability of Chana/Kabuli Chana.

On other hand, White Pea prices was higher due to shortage of ready stock. The containers continue to be stuck at Mumbai port due to non-issuance of Customs' clearance.
