Chana Trades Flat In Delhi

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh origin Chana traded flat during the early session at the Lawrence road market of Delhi on Wednesday amid limited millers' Purchase.

Demand for chana dal and besan was reported to be thin at the consumption centres.

Sentiments are still under pressure due to recovery in Rabi Chana sowing. NAFED's stock holding keeps the prices subdued. The Government agency intends to release its stocks over next few months.

20 truckloads of supply has arrived at the markets, up from 15 truckloads in the previous session.

Rajasthan and M.P origin chana traded flat each at Rs 4,450/100kg and Rs 4,350, respectively.

Chana December futures were trading tad weak or Rs 1 down at Rs 4,371/100kg on National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Ltd (NCDEX).
