Spot Mentha Gains On Better Demand

NEW DELHI (Commoditiescontrol) - Spot mentha oil prices moved higher at key markets of Uttar Pradesh on Friday amid an increase in demand from the consuming industries.

Mentha oil prices in Chandausi, Sambhal and Rampur quoted at Rs 1,361/kg, Rs 1,370 and Rs 1,340, respectively.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), mentha oil for delivery in November gained by Rs 17.70 or 1.41 percent at Rs 1,275.50 per kg.

As per traders, prices may remain sideways in the days to come with rise in winter season demand and amid expectations of higher acreage in the forthcoming season.
