MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh origin Chana traded flat during the early session at the Lawrence road market of Delhi on Wednesday amid limited buying activity only to meet their immediate requirement for crushing and also remained cautious at prevailing rates as government is holding major stock of Chana.

However, regular demand in chana dal and besan from consumption centres was witnessed in the market.

Supply in the markets was 25 truckloads, similar truckloads in the previous session.

Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh origin chana traded flat each at Rs 4,625/100kg and Rs 4,525-4,550, respectively.

Chana November futures were trading firm by 0.4 percent or Rs 16 at Rs 4,514/100kg on National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Ltd (NCDEX).
