Spot Pepper Prices Rule Subdued

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) - Spot pepper prices remained subdued at the major Kochi market in Kerala on Wednesday amid sluggish trade.

The price of garbled was at Rs 341/kg, while ungarbled ruled at Rs 321/kg.

Traders said there is pressure on the prices from upper levels as demand from North India has come down. Pepper October futures on ICEX also ended down 0.11 percent at Rs 323.35/kg.
