Cotton Mostly Steady in Central, South Amid Sluggish Trade

MUMBAI(Commoditiescontrol) – Cotton Price rule steady in Central, Southern spot markets on Tuesday.

Cotton prices quoted in Central, South remained unchanged from previous session. However, in Telangana it was up by Rs. 100/200 per Candy.

As per sources, there was negligible activity in the markets at this level of price. Both buyers and sellers kept themselves on the sidelines until further cues to evaluate the direction of price.

Globally, the most active December contract on ICE ended down 1.5% at 59.24 cents per lb.

On MCX, Cotton for delivery is trading higher by 0.05% at Rs. 20,920 per Bale of 170 kg each.
