Domestic/Imported Variety Tur Drops At Major Markets

Mumbai (Commoditiescontrol) – Domestic tur slipped on Monday at major markets on slack millers trade activity due to dull demand and sale counters in processed Tur from wholesale/retail counter.

Gulbarga market of Karnataka was closed today due to Shravan Monday.

Similarly, Tur lemon variety of Burma origin remained weak by Rs 25-50 at Rs 5,325/100Kg and Rs 5,600, respectively in Mumbai and Delhi amid dull buying, following weak cues from domestic markets.

Upcoming supplies from Burma, recovery in sowing and favourable weather for Kharif Tur crop also weighed on sentiments.

In Burma, Tur lemon old and Linkhey variety declined due to lack of buying enquries from India.

Karnataka:10.86 V/s 9.66, Maharashtra:11.84 V/s 11.93, Uttar Pradesh:3.22 V/s 3.18, Gujarat:2.06 V/s 2.36, Madhya Pradesh:4.83 V/s 5.62, Telangana:2.67 V/s 2.67, Andhra Pradesh:1.65 V/s 1.41, Chhattisgarh:1.06 V/s 1.21, Total:42.17 V/s 42.14.

Around 27,489.001 MT Tur from various origin arrived at Nhava Sheva Port in July month. Burma:13367.451, Mozambique:7979.55, Malawi:4569, Sudan:930, Tanzania:475, Uganda:168.
