MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Canada crimson variety and Australia origin masoor traded lower at the Kolkata market on Saturday as buyers were interested to purchase at lower rates to meet their immediate requirement for crushing.

However, demand in processed masoor from consumption centres was reported slow.

Moreover, availibility of imported stock and fresh supply from overseas also dampened the sentiments.

Vessel M V Medi Astoria carrying about 30500 tonnes of Canada Masoor is expected to arrive soon at Mundra port, according to a shipping agency.

Vessel M V Kennadi carrying about 38255 tonnes of Canada Masoor is expected to arrive at Mundra port on 21 August, 2019, according to a shipping agency.

Canada crimson variety and Australia masoor traded weak by Rs 50 each at Rs 4,150/100Kg and Rs 4,250, respectively.
