Spot Mentha Edges Lower On Profit-Booking

NEW DELHI (Commoditiescontrol) - Spot mentha oil prices edged lower at key markets of Uttar Pradesh on Friday amid profit-booking.

As per trade sources, priuces are likely to remain buoyant ahead due to a rise in export demand from the spice oil and tight supplies.

Mentha oil prices in Chandausi, Sambhal and Rampur quoted at Rs 1,410/kg, Rs 1,415 and Rs 1,395, respectively.

While, at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), mentha oil for delivery in July slipped by Rs 4.30 or 0.33 percent at Rs 1,296.50 per kg.
