MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – Burma urad FAQ/SQ varieties traded flat at the Chennai market in Tamil Nadu on Friday amid limited millers buying support for crushing.

However, sellers were active to settle their forward trade due to month end (April contract).

Delay in further imports due to ongoing elections in India and limited stock of imported Urad will support the prices at lower rates.

Demand and sale counters for processed urad from consumption centres were reported limited at prevailing prices.

Urad SQ variety traded unchanged at Rs 5,300/100Kg in ready delivery as per condition. Similarly, Urad FAQ variety remained steady at Rs 4,400.

Similarly, In forward business, Urad FAQ/SQ variety priced steady at Rs 4,575/100Kg and Rs 5,475, respectively on buyers option delivery to take for May month.
