NAFED Procures 4215.38 MT Urad In Rabi-2019 Season So Far

MUMBAI (Commoditiescontrol) – In order to protect farmers from making distress sell, National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd (NAFED) has been buying Urad in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh under Price Support Scheme (PSS) during the 2019 Rabi season.

As on April 22, 2019, NAFED has successfully procured 4215.38 MT of Urad at Minimum Support Price of Rs 5,600.
