West Africa Coffee Weather - Nov 22

WORLD COFFEE PROSPECTS 
 
     A more normal rainfall pattern has returned to Sao Paulo and Minas Gerais 
Brazil favoring flowering and budding coffee trees. 
    The harvest is ongoing in Mexico and Central America. 
    The main crop harvest is ongoing in Colombia. 
    Increasing rainfall in southern Indonesia at this time will improve 
conditions for the coffee trees. 
    Drier weather in Vietnam coffee areas at this time. This will favor the 
harvest effort for this crop, after prior heavy rains. 
 
Ivory Coast and Ghana 
 
Highlights: Dry or with only a few light showers with locally heavier, favoring 
east and south areas, during the past 24 hours. Temperatures averaged near to 
above normal yesterday. 
 
Forecast: 
 Days 1-3: Scattered to widely scattered showers are possible in the region 
during this period, likely favoring southern areas...possibly favoring western 
areas. Temperatures average near to above normal. 
 
East Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania) 
 
Highlights: Light to moderate showers with locally heavier in the south, mainly 
dry central and north, during the past 24 hours. Temperatures near to above 
normal. 
 
Forecast: 
 Days 1-3: Episodes of scattered showers and thundershowers will mainly occur 
through southern areas during this period. A few light showers with locally 
heavier central locations. Dry north. Temperatures near normal south, near to 
above normal north.
