U.S. Southern Plains HRW Wheat Weather - Sep 22

Central/southern plains wheat and livestock highlights... 
    Dry conditions. Temperatures much above normal with highs in the middle 90s 
to low 100s f. 
Central/southern plains wheat and livestock forecast 
    Dry weather Thursday. Dry conditions or just a few light showers with 
isolated heavier Friday. Episodes of scattered showers and thunderstorms 
Saturday-Wednesday. Moderate to heavy totals are expected. Temperatures above 
to much above normal through Saturday, near to above normal Sunday, variable 
Monday, near to below normal Tuesday-Wednesday. 
6-10 Day Outlook: Temperatures starting out near to below normal warming to 
near to above normal. Rainfall near to below normal north, near to above normal 
    Some beneficial rainfall for planting and emergence of winter wheat  in the 
southern plains during the next 7 days. 
    Favorable conditions for developing wheat in central Argentina. 
    Mostly favorable conditions for maturing and harvesting spring wheat in 
Russia and northern Kazakh. 
    Mostly favorable weather for planting winter wheat in Ukraine, west and 
south Russia at this time. Dryness is of some concern for key growing areas in 
southeast Ukraine and south Russia. 
    More rain would benefit vegetative to reproductive wheat in West and 
vegetative wheat in southeast Australia at this time. Dryness continues to 
stress wheat grown in northern NSW and southern Queensland further reducing 
yield prospects. 
    No significant delays to the wheat harvest in the Canadian Prairies. 
Harvest progress is running ahead of normal.
