Southeast US (Alabama and Georgia) highlights... 
    Dry conditions. Temperatures above to much above normal. 
Southeast US (Alabama and Georgia) Forecast 
6-10 day outlook: Temperatures 
    Episodes of scattered showers and thunderstorms in the Midwest will disrupt 
fieldwork and corn planting. However above normal temperatures will warm soils 
favoring areas that are dry enough to plant corn. 
    Corn planting is ongoing in the Delta states and is running at or ahead of 
    Favorable weather for developing second crop corn in central Brazil. 
    Mostly dry weather in central Argentina during the next 5 days will favor 
the maturing crop and any early harvesting after recent heavy rains. 
    Maize areas of South Africa had widespread thundershower activity late last 
week. While this may favor late filling maize it is likely unfavorable for 
maturing maize. 
    Favorable moisture for corn planting in northern Italy at this time.
