    Dry conditions or just a little light snow. Temperatures below to much 
below normal. 
Northern Plains Forecast 
    Dry conditions or just a little light snow Tuesday. Dry weather 
Wednesday-Thursday. Light to moderate precipitation Friday. Light precipitation 
later Saturday and early Sunday. Dry weather Monday. Temperatures below to much 
below normal Tuesday, near to below normal Wednesday, variable Thursday, near 
to above normal Friday-Saturday, variable Sunday, below normal Monday. 
6-10 Day Outlook: Temperatures variable. Precipitation below normal. 
    Winter grain areas of Ukraine, west and south Russia have turned colder 
again during the weekend period. Snow cover is widespread and deep due to 
recent snow storms. Moisture for this crop should be adequate to surplus when 
this snow melts during the spring. 
    Winter grain areas of Europe have turned colder again during the weekend. 
The crop has likely benefited from recent rain and warm temperatures. Winter 
grains in Spain and Italy will benefit from above normal winter time 
precipitation at this time, mostly rain in Spain and snow and rain in Italy. 
   Drier, warmer weather at this time will favor maturing sorghum and early 
harvesting of sorghum in eastern Australia. 
   Mostly favorable conditions for the final harvest effort for the Kharif 
Sorghum crop in India at this time. Weekend showers in key growing areas for 
the Rabi crop in southern India may have come too late to significantly improve
