Midwest corn, soybean and winter wheat highlights 
West: Dry conditions. Temperatures much below normal. 
East: Dry conditions. Temperatures variable. 
Midwest Corn, Soybeans and Winter Wheat Forecast 
West: Dry weather Friday. Light rain later Saturday and early Sunday. Dry 
weather Monday. Scattered light rain Tuesday. Dry weather Wednesday. Scattered 
light rain Thursday. Temperatures below normal Friday, near to above normal 
Saturday-Sunday, above normal Monday-Thursday. 
East: Dry weather through Saturday. Light rain Sunday. Dry weather Monday. Dry 
conditions or just a few light showers in the west Tuesday. Light to locally 
moderate rain Wednesday. Dry conditions or just a few light showers Thursday. 
Temperatures below normal Friday, near to below normal Saturday, near to above 
normal Sunday-Thursday. 
6 to 10 day outlook: Temperatures variable. Precipitation near to below normal 
west, near to above normal east. 
    An improving rainfall pattern for planting and developing soybeans in 
central Brazil. However it will be a late crop which could affect second crop 
corn acreage. Drier weather would benefit planting in southern Brazil. 
    Soybean planting is increasing in central Argentina. Conditions are 
    No significant concerns for the final harvest effort for soybeans in 
northeast China at this time, despite recent precipitation. 
    A turn to drier, warm to hot weather through west-central India will favor 
the mature soybean crop and the early harvest effort. Late rains during the 
Monsoon rainy season likely favored the filling crop during the past month or
