Favorable weather for developing and filling soybeans in Brazil except in
the minor northeast areas (Bahia) where hot, dry weather will impact
production. Wet weather in central Brazil disrupts the harvest but maintains
favorable soil moisture for double-crop corn planting.
Dry weather in central Argentina improves conditions for remaining corn and
soybean planting and any replanting following recent heavy rains. Dry weather
at this time also favors developing crops. Hot/dry weather in the double crop
soybean areas in the south will reduce planted acreage and impact production.
Seasonally dry in the soybean growing region of India will favor the
remaining harvest at this time. The region had a very wet Monsoon rain season
and may see higher disease and quality issues with this crop.
