WORLD SOYBEAN PROSPECTS

Favorable conditions for developing soybeans in Brazil except in the far
northeast (western Bahia) where hot/dry weather will impact production. Some
harvest disruptions in central Brazil.
A turn to drier weather in central Argentina will allow for any remaining
planting and favor crop development. Dry weather in the double-crop soybean
areas in the south will impact production as some acreage will likely not get
planted.
Seasonally dry in the soybean growing region of India will favor the
remaining harvest at this time. The region had a very wet Monsoon rain season
and may see higher disease and quality issues with this crop.
