West: Episodes of rain Friday-Sunday. Moderate to heavy totals are expected. 
Light precipitation Monday. Mostly dry weather Tuesday. Light rain Wednesday. 
Dry weather Thursday. Temperatures below normal through Tuesday, near to below 
normal Wednesday-Thursday. 
 
East: Episodes of rain Friday-Sunday. Heavy totals are expected. Light rain 
Monday. Dry conditions or just a little light rain Tuesday-Thursday. 
Temperatures variable through Monday, below normal Tuesday-Thursday. 
 
6 to 10 day outlook...Temperatures variable. Rainfall near to below normal. 
 
WORLD SOYBEAN PROSPECTS 
 
    Soybean planting is ongoing in the Delta states and is running ahead of 
normal. 
    More favorable weather for maturing and harvesting soybeans in central 
Argentina. 
    Planting of soybeans in China would typically begin during May. Dryness and 
episodes of cold weather may slow early planting in key northeast growing 
areas. Favorable soil moisture and temperatures in less important growing areas 
of central China at this time.
