Review of Aussie Power Could Have Been Worse -- Market Talk

16 Oct 2017 12:21 am

0021 GMT - The Australian Consumer and Competition Commission's preliminary review of the country's electricity market probably isn't as negative as feared, says RBC, particularly for integrated power companies like AGL and Origin. They may include ways to lift competition in generation and retail markets, reducing network costs and cost-effective and fair environmental schemes. A final report is due in June.
