0021 GMT - The Australian Consumer and Competition Commission's preliminary review of the country's electricity market probably isn't as negative as feared, says RBC, particularly for integrated power companies like AGL and Origin. The investment bank thinks the agency plans to focus on potential measures to tackle soaring bills. They may include ways to lift competition in generation and retail markets, reducing network costs and cost-effective and fair environmental schemes. A final report is due in June.
