Argentina Corn, Soybeans and Wheat... 
Cordoba, Santa Fe, North Buenos Aires 
    Scattered light rain with locally heavier. Temperatures below normal 
Friday-Saturday, near to above normal Sunday. 
    Mostly dry weather through Tuesday. Scattered light to moderate showers and 
thunderstorms with locally heavier Wednesday. Dry weather Thursday-Sunday. 
Temperatures near to above normal Monday, variable Tuesday-Wednesday, below to 
much below normal Thursday-Saturday, near to above normal Sunday. 
La Pampa, South Buenos Aires 
    Light to moderate rain observed. Temperatures near to below normal 
Friday-Saturday, variable Sunday. 
    Dry weather Monday. Dry conditions or just a few light showers 
Tuesday-Wednesday. Mostly dry weather Thursday-Sunday. Temperatures variable 
through Wednesday, below to much below normal Thursday-Friday, variable 
Saturday, near to above normal Sunday. 
    Cool, wet weather disrupts corn planting in the Midwest and is unfavorable 
for developing crops. 
    Warmer weather would benefit planting and developing corn in the northern 
    Favorable weather for developing corn in the Delta states. 
    Favorable weather for filling corn in central Brazil as the rainy season 
    Some disruptions to the harvest in central Argentina at this time. 
    Recent wet weather may have slowed the planting effort for corn in France. 
However warmer temperatures recently will favor development. Mostly favorable 
conditions at this time for corn areas of North Italy, Hungary and the Balkan 
    Improving rains in corn areas of north-central Ukraine recently and mostly 
favorable conditions for planting and early development of corn in Ukraine and 
south Russia at this time. 
    Corn planting in China would typically begin during May. Soil moisture will 
favor planting through southeast and east-central areas. Key growing areas of 
the northeast have recently received beneficial rainfall. The western portion 
of China's northeast corn belt after being dry for much of the spring has 
received needed rainfall early this week. This may cause brief delays in the 
planting effort but it will be considered favorable.
