WORLD CORN PROSPECTS

Some beneficial rains in the major corn and soybean areas of central
Argentina are expected over the weekend. This will ease stress to filling
crops. However significant damage has already been done.
Favorable weather for planting and developing second crop corn in central
Brazil.
Wet fields will keep spring fieldwork slow in the eastern Midwest and
Delta states.
Mostly favorable conditions for filling maize in South Africa at this
time. No significant concerns for the early maturing crop in the east.
